January 1, 2026, Psalm 133:1-3

133 Behold, how good and pleasant it is
    when brothers dwell in unity!
It is like the precious oil on the head,
    running down on the beard,
on the beard of Aaron,
running down on the collar of his robes!
It is like the dew of Hermon,
which falls on the mountains of Zion!
For there the Lord has commanded the blessing,
    life forevermore.

This chapter is small yet packs a significant message on unity.
The reference to anointing oil flowing down Aaron's beard and robes shares the abundant and amazing nature of unity. Unity is also connected to the priesthood and sacred things. The dew on Mount Hermon, watering the land, shares the idea that unity is life-giving and refreshing.

Unity requires selflessness vs. pridefulness, serving with a spirit of delight and demonstrating love, the very nature of God. How do you approach conflict to spring forth unity?

As you begin a new year allow God to share His perfect will for you as you move forward with Him in faith.
