December 12, 2025, Psalm 119:121-128

December 12, 2025, Psalm 119:121-128

121 I have done what is just and right;
    do not leave me to my oppressors.
122 Give your servant a pledge of good;
    let not the insolent oppress me.
123 My eyes long for your salvation
    and for the fulfillment of your righteous promise.
124 Deal with your servant according to your steadfast love,
    and teach me your statutes.
125 I am your servant; give me understanding,
    that I may know your testimonies!
126 It is time for the Lord to act,
    for your law has been broken.
127 Therefore I love your commandments
    above gold, above fine gold.
128 Therefore I consider all your precepts to be right;
    I hate every false way.

Verse 124 shows the trust the psalter has for God.  He tells God to deal with him according the God’s steadfast love.  He knows God is love and trusts God to judge him.

Do you trust God enough to ask the same?

The more we know God, the more we know the love He has for us.

I spend more time with God than ever before, but I know it is not enough.  How can we spend enough time with God?

Even when we spend time with Him, is it quality time, or is it interrupted by life?

This season that is all about how God loved us so much He gave us Jesus, it might seem even harder to take the time to thank God property, but this season more than any other, that is exactly what we should be doing.

Tell God how much you love Him today and see how He pours out His love on you.
