November 1, 2025, Psalm 93:1-5

93 The Lord reigns; he is robed in majesty;
    the Lord is robed; he has put on strength as his belt.
Yes, the world is established; it shall never be moved.
Your throne is established from of old;
    you are from everlasting.

The floods have lifted up, O Lord,
    the floods have lifted up their voice;
    the floods lift up their roaring.
Mightier than the thunders of many waters,
    mightier than the waves of the sea,
    the Lord on high is mighty!

Your decrees are very trustworthy;
    holiness befits your house,
    Lord, forevermore.

Don’t you love how the Lord’s power, majesty, kingdom and authority is established in these verses? He brings promise, hope and ultimate faithfulness for all.

What do you do regularly to celebrate God’s majesty and splendor? How do you ‘ground yourself’ in Christ’?

These verses remind me of Christ’s promise in I John 16:33 telling us that we will have troubles in this life but to take heart because He has overcome the world. How do these verses make you feel? Are you encouraged by these verses? Why or why not?
