I need your help and your prayers!

Jesus never promised we wouldn't have problems. In fact, He promised we would have problems. In John 16:33 He says:

"I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world."
He tells us not just problems, but tribulations.
Tribulation is defined as: grievous trouble; severe trial or suffering.
So Jesus tells us we will have not just trouble, but severe suffering. But He also reminds us that He has over come the world. He also reminds us that in Him we have peace. His peace is always with us because He is always with us.
I'm sharing this post today because I want to apologize for the past few weeks of sporadic posting. My hope is to get caught up today or tomorrow, but I don't want to just throw it against the wall. I want it to be from our Heavenly Father. I want it to be His words, His guidance, His peace.
I have been very distracted as my family has been experiencing some of the tribulation that comes in this fallen world and although I know that God has it in control and Jesus is holding me close, I have to admit I have not dealt with the recent stress as well as I wish I had. I want to be transparent and tell you this for a few reasons.
  1. I get tired of people acting like they are superhuman and nothing bothers them. EVERYONE HAS TROUBLES! Everyone struggles. Different times and different struggles, but we all have "stuff".
  2. I covet your prayers. Tribulation isn't something that drops in and stays for an hour, a day or even a week. There are some things that change your life and the lives of your family. I know the prayers of His people will cover me with peace and comfort. Please share your need for prayers as well. We are in this thing called "life" together. I need your support, and I want to give you support as well.
  3. The enemy didn't just bring one problem. He is attacking from every direction. Family, health, extended family, but I know that it is because the enemy doesn't like what we are doing and is trying to stop it. That is a good thing, even though it is difficult. It means we are doing something right, but I want to step up how we support and love one another, so I need your help. When you find a verse or an inspirational story that speaks to you and you feel might encourage others, please share it with our group. If you meet people that need to be encouraged, invite them to the group. The ministry team administrators are a small group, but you are part of this ministry team too, and we need you.
Thank you for allowing me to share with you today, and thank you in advance for your fervent prayers.
I'm looking forward to seeing what God is going to do in and through this ministry. Thank you for being part of our team.
