Exodus 25:31-40
31 “You shall make a lampstand of pure gold. The lampstand shall be made of hammered work: its base, its stem, its cups, its calyxes, and its flowers shall be of one piece with it. 32 And there shall be six branches going out of its sides, three branches of the lampstand out of one side of it and three branches of the lampstand out of the other side of it; 33 three cups made like almond blossoms, each with calyx and flower, on one branch, and three cups made like almond blossoms, each with calyx and flower, on the other branch—so for the six branches going out of the lampstand. 34 And on the lampstand itself there shall be four cups made like almond blossoms, with their calyxes and flowers, 35 and a calyx of one piece with it under each pair of the six branches going out from the lampstand. 36 Their calyxes and their branches shall be of one piece with it, the whole of it a single piece of hammered work of pure gold. 37 You shall make seven lamps for it. And the lamps shall be set up so as to give light on the space in front of it. 38 Its tongs and their trays shall be of pure gold. 39 It shall be made, with all these utensils, out of a talent of pure gold. 40 And see that you make them after the pattern for them, which is being shown you on the mountain.

Again, God provides the directions for a lampstand that will be used in the temple. Every piece He had them create had a specific use and meaning. He designed this lampstand with six branches and of course everything about each piece had a special significance. God doesn’t do anything without purpose and meaning. Our God is a God of details.
As I live my life and look back, I see where He has provided in so many ways and has worked the details out for me long before I knew I would be in a certain situation. If you have found the same in your life, give God the praises He deserves and tell everyone you know how much God loves us and is our great provider, even in the smallest of matters. Thank you, God.

Heavenly Father, I read about the instructions You gave the Israelites on how to create each piece and this lampstand is probably the most recognized of the pieces except for the Ark of the Covenant. Each piece is painstakingly designed by You and created by Your children per Your instructions. I so wish I could see those original pieces and experience the glory of the love that went into each piece. I would love to have been able to watch the faces of those who crafted them and how intricately they worked to make it perfect for You. I can’t imagine how delighted they were to know You were going to use these pieces to commune with them. Help me to be delighted to commune and fellowship with You, Father. It doesn’t matter that there isn’t a gold table or lampstand available, it only matters that I am with You, listening for Your voice and expressing my love for You. Help me enjoy You as my Father, listening for Your advice and direction.
In Jesus’ name.
Amen!
