Dear Father, Please use me to impact those who need to hear about You, or need to be reminded of You.  Those with a hard heart or maybe those who have drifted away because the enemy makes his lies look enticing.  He is a master manipulator.  Help me tell truth to those who need to hear Your truth.  Use me to touch hearts so You can change lives.  Help me have a heart that listens to You and is obedient no matter what You ask.  I know I am not Your easiest child to deal with, but I do love You so much and I want to make You proud.  Help me be obedient in all things.  Help me to have an attitude of praise, not condemning, and a heart of joy, not of frustration.  Thank You Father, for teaching me every day and for helping me hear Your voice in Your Words, by the Holy Spirit, and through others, like my ministry team who have such a heart for You, and my family, who love You and want to please You.  Thank You for allowing me to be surrounded by such amazing people who love You.

In Jesus’ name.

I cannot even imagine how it would be to have a houseful of frogs. The scripture says the frogs covered the land of Egypt and yet Pharaoh did not change his behavior. The plague that enveloped the land of Egypt appeared in the form of frogs but the true plague was the heart condition of Pharaoh.

Do you have a loved one or friend that is suffering because of the condition of their heart? Are they unable to let go of their past hurts, their need to control everything, their anger?

Ask God today to be used by Him in this person’s life. God loves them and it is possible He can use you to bring His love to them. 




Exodus 8:1-7

Then the Lord said to Moses, “Go in to Pharaoh and say to him, ‘Thus says the Lord, “Let my people go, that they may serve me. 2 But if you refuse to let them go, behold, I will plague all your country with frogs. 3 The Nile shall swarm with frogs that shall come up into your house and into your bedroom and on your bed and into the houses of your servants and your people, and into your ovens and your kneading bowls. 4 The frogs shall come up on you and on your people and on all your servants.”’” 5 And the Lord said to Moses, “Say to Aaron, ‘Stretch out your hand with your staff over the rivers, over the canals and over the pools, and make frogs come up on the land of Egypt!’” 6 So Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt, and the frogs came up and covered the land of Egypt. 7 But the magicians did the same by their secret arts and made frogs come up on the land of Egypt.

So often we are willing to help others, but not if it puts us out or causes us work. Help me love unconditionally and act on that love. Joseph spent most of his life with Egyptians, but certainly not in comfort until the last years regarding the famine, but yet he grew to love them to a degree he worked to make their lives better. I pray Father that You help me to love like that. Help me remember to act on the love for others and be Jesus to those around me. In Jesus’ name. Amen! I find this so interesting. Joseph, not an Egyptian, sold into slavery, and imprisoned in Egypt for years because of an Egyptian who lied about him.
